Jordan Ice & Aerated Water Company (JICE) "Pepsi" was established in Jordan on April 2nd, 1968, as a limited liability company. Initially owned by individuals, it obtained a franchise from PepsiCo International for the production and packaging of soft drinks such as Pepsi, Miranda, and 7UP.

Over the years, the company has transitioned from a local entity to a global player. This transformation occurred when PepsiCo International acquired complete ownership in 1998. Subsequently, JICE diversified its portfolio from being solely a carbonated soft drinks manufacturer to a comprehensive beverage company producing a range of products including soft drinks (Pepsi, Miranda, 7UP, Mountain Dew, Shani), non-carbonated beverages like Lipton Ice Tea, Barrio non-alcoholic malt beverage, Frutz, and bottled Aquafina water. All these offerings adhere to international standards for quality and taste, utilizing the latest filtration systems in both production and packaging.

In November 2017, the Saudi Al-Qahtani Group entered a strategic partnership with PepsiCo International by acquiring a 52% stake in JICE Company. This collaboration led to increased investments from shareholders (PepsiCo and Al-Qahtani) aimed at enhancing the company's production capabilities, systems, and product lines. Additionally, the company remains actively involved in consumer marketing programs, sponsorship of national sports teams across various disciplines, and continues to support local communities through initiatives such as rainwater collection dam construction to maintain water balance and replenish resources beyond operational needs. Furthermore, JICE is committed to social responsibility by supporting charitable organizations like Tkiyet Um Ali and collaborating with strategic institutions and sponsorships such as the Crown Prince Foundation to empower youth and future generations with various initiatives that create positive impacts within society.
